Where are you from?

I am originally from the center of Ukraine

How did you begin dancing?

I first started when I was 12 years old I went to a big dance demonstration and this inspired me to start dancing. I secretly went to a group dance class without telling my parents and after that I became hooked. I was too scared to ask my parents about dance class so I went my Grandma who paid for the lessons so I good start.

What you would like to achieve in your career?

I like many other dancer’s would love to become a world champion in Smooth and International Standard

What would you like to achieve at JDLA?

I love the social environment that Just Dance offers and I would like to bring new energy and ideas to the studio, inspire and encourage a new generation of dancers.

Is the best place to help you achieve your goals and open new doors, new careers and evolve you as a person, but most of all I feel Just Dance Los Angeles is a place to have fun and let loose.

Why do you enjoy teaching or what makes the way you teach unique?

In my teaching I give enjoyment and I love to see students improve and the joy that it brings them. I’m a very soft natured character, patient yet passionate and feel that really benefits me as a teacher.

Amy Bennett

Born in Great Yarmouth, England, Amy started dancing at the age of 8 attending Ballroom and Latin dance classes at her local dance school. Discovering her passion for dance Amy put all her focus into becoming a competitive dancer. Winning titles at all local competitions she then began to compete nationally and Internationally. At the age of 16 Amy moved to London to be trained by some of the best teachers in her profession. Amy focused on becoming a professional Latin dancer and ranked 2nd in England. Amy has represented England in European and World Championships as well as being part of England’s National Team. Amy is also positioned in the top 24 couples of the World and has been a European semi, World Series Semi finalist and 4x International and Open to the World Rising Star Finalists as well as National Runner Up a number of times.

Through dance Amy has traveled to numerous places Hong Kong, America, Italy, France, Malaysia and Germany to name but a few teaching and performing Cabarets. Amy has vast experience in teaching from children, beginners through to high-level competitors, working with universities and formation teams. Amy has lectured and given workshops for famous Dance Organizations and is a qualified Dance Teacher with the ISTD and faculty.

With such a love for performing Amy has also been in the West End Musical “Dirty Dancing” where she was Ballroom Dance Captain and ensemble for two years, she also performed on various TV shows and for the Theatre Mad charity featuring in Westend Eurovision with the cast of Dirty Dancing. She has performed on P&O cruise ships around the world, Ballroom with a Twist International Tour, Dancing with The Movies Tour and Starred in the Polish edition of “Dancing with the Stars”. Amy has also had the privilege of performing for stars like Goldie Hawn. Most recently Amy has been a featured part of Mak and Val “Our Way Tour” current “Dancing With The Stars” Professionals.
